Daniel Radcliffe talked about working on the Half-Blood Prince set and discussed his relationship with Tom Felton.

"In the future, when you look back at the making of the six films, what do you think might stick in your mind about the process?

RADCLIFFE: [snip] One of the sequences, on this last film, was with Tom Felton as Malfoy in the bathroom. Me and Tom have always liked each other but we actually started getting on really, really well in the last film, so that will be one of the binding memories."

"Warner Bros just confirmed that the Japanese premiere of Half-Blood Prince will take place on Monday, July 6, 2009. The date was first announced at a fan event that took place in Japan on April 19, after which we inquired on the date.
Warner Bros also states that this is the FIRST world premiere, and that two more will take place afterwards in London and New York. The London premiere will take place on Tuesday, July 7th, and the New York City premiere the next day, on July 8th.
At the moment we do not know which of the stars will be attending the Japanese premiere; that information will be made public closer to the July date."

Tom Felton is going to participate in the Pirates Adventure Charity Premiere Event to benefit the Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital. The event will take place May 3, in Majorca, Spain.

As part of the event, children who are seriously ill are taken to Majorca, Spain, to spend a weekend with celebrities and to attend the premiere of Pirates Adventure show. Last year the event raised more than €100,000 to aid the Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital, and this year the event organizers aim to break through half a million Euros.

According to the Pirates Adventure Web site, the premiere event will also be open to the public for €100 per seat on the Quarter Deck (Adult or child) and €50 on the Main Deck.

Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) has a bigger role in Half-Blood Prince so we get to see a little more from his character this time around. “Draco has slightly more of a central plot as far as good and evil. I think that for the last sort of five years he’s always been very envious that Harry is the chosen one. I think that he’s given the opportunity to be the chosen one for the other guys. At first he laps up the opportunity to do so,” says Felton, “but he has a few internal questions that have difficulty being answered within himself. He doesn’t quite realize the severity of what he’s about to get himself into, nor the lack of confidence that he really has in what he’s trying to achieve.”

We also find out more about Draco in general in this production. “It’s great to find out more about the character and to dive a bit deeper into why he is the way that he is, and this goes into his relationship with his a father a bit more. His father is not around in this film so he feels slightly weaker without him, definitely, but he knows that he’s the man of the Malfoy Manner and so he has to step up his game. It’s a contradiction too. He wants to step up and be the big shot, but equally he knows deep down that he’s not half the man that Harry is, I’m sure,” reveals Felton.

Ray Stokes, author and producer of the film “Emma of Lulworth Cove,” currently in pre-production, discussed Tom Felton’s interest in the movie with feltbeats.com

Stokes told Feltbeats.com earlier today that Tom is personally very interested in being involved in this film. He says that he should be hearing from Tom’s agent any day now and also confirmed that Tom would be playing the role of romantic lead, Robbie.

“I think Tom is perfect for this movie,” says Stokes.

“Tom’s age is right for the part. He is relatively unknown as a romantic lead and this is his chance to make the transition. He has strikingly unusual good looks and could benefit from being a goodie rather a baddy.”

Stokes also elaborated on why he felt Tom Felton would be perfect for the role of Robbie.

“Tom is British and we wanted a British male lead as, Emma, the female lead (Sara Paxton), is an American. He is sensitive and intelligent enough to do a sensitive and demanding role. We are both excited and very pleased to have Tom.”
